Projects

Each summer SAVIE organises projects in Eastern Europe.

The projects takes place during the summer and lasts for 2 weeks. During the projects you contect with the locals and your projectgroup that has a maximum of 10 volunteers.

Experiences of former volunteers

In 2017 I went to Sarajevo. This was an unbelievably beautiful experience. The children had been looking forward to our arrival and we were received very warmly. I still look back on this project with great satisfaction and a smile on my face. Hajmo Sarajevo!

In the summer of 2018 I traveled to Stamnica as a project manager. It was an incredibly beautiful, educational but certainly an unforgettable experience. When I managed to make a resident laugh with balloons, bubbles or crisp books, my heart melted. The home and my fellow volunteers will always have a special place in my heart.

It was a great experience, I went twice to the projects in the summer (Bosnia and Serbia)! The SAVIE Foundation has projects in various places in the former Yugoslavia, each with its own interpretation, but with the same end goal: a bit of personal attention and letting people forget about their worries.
